Loren and Stephen’s videos were the first sexually explicit products ever approved for mass-media advertising in newspapers and magazines.

Publications like USA Today, The New York Times, Redbook, Psychology Today, Cosmopolitan and Playboy (yes, even Cosmo and Playboy refused all ‘hard core’ explicit advertising until the Kapelows convinced them that legitimate adult sex education was not pornography!), Details, GQ, Esquire, Ladies Home Journal, Self, Longevity and many more. 

Their sex education videos have been used by over 130 colleges, and universities in their teaching curricula (psychology and sex education classes), and by more than 400 clinics of psychologists and sex therapists, from coast-to-coast, in their clinical practices.

Kapelow sex education programs have featured the work of many of the finest sexologists in the business - Drs. Bill Masters, Virginia Johnson, Helen Singer Kaplan, Bernie Zilbergeld, Derek Polonsky (Harvard Medical School), Lonnie Barbach, Betty Dodson, Drs.
